The first batches of coffee were packaged in beautiful tin cans, in which housewives later stored cereals and spices. To attract customers, along with coffee they were always given some useful little thing, for example, a kitchen napkin or a towel.

In 1964, construction began on a plant for roasting coffee beans using advanced technologies. Thanks to continuous improvement, coffee sales grew steadily and averaged 60,000 tons per year. By the early 1980s, a new decaffeinated coffee, Sana, was introduced to the market.

Also in these odes, 2 more coffee brands appeared - Privat Kaffee and Picco. From the late 80s to the present day, Tchibo has rapidly expanded its horizons and is one of the leading organizations in the market.
