Coffee is an invigorating drink, without which many people cannot imagine their daily life. Today, coffee lovers brew the drink in modern devices that make the preparation process easier.
But not everyone manages to create truly tasty and velvety coffee. That is why it is necessary to figure out how to properly brew a drink at home, and what methods are relevant now.

The benefits and harms of ground coffee for the health of the body
Unlike instant coffee, the chemical composition of which does not fully correspond to the natural product, ground beans, which have not been boiled, retain all the beneficial properties that nature has endowed them with.
In addition to caffeine, the invigorating effect of which everyone knows, grains contain organic acids, lipids (natural fats and oils), vitamins (groups B, E, PP), minerals, tannins, carbohydrates, and proteins necessary for our health.
Thanks to such a rich composition, ground coffee is useful for humans, and its main “bonuses” are the following:
- increasing physical endurance;
- reducing the feeling of hunger (this property of coffee is used in weight loss diets);
- burning fat cells;
- the ability to enhance brain activity and concentrate on work more successfully;
- obtaining additional protection against various diseases (for example, the risk of prostate cancer is reduced by 25%, Parkinson's disease is less likely to develop);
- slowing down the aging process of the body;
- improvement of a person’s moral and psychological state due to the substances included in the product that harmonize mood (for example, serotonin, dopamine).
Natural ground coffee can have a negative effect if the drink is abused. The consequences of this may be:
- insomnia;
- high blood pressure;
- risk of heart attack;
- headache;
- for women – difficulties with conceiving a child and bearing it;
- loss of calcium by the body (caffeine washes it out of the bones);
- hearing impairment.
If we talk about the most severe consequences, you need to keep in mind that a dose of caffeine of 10-15 g is fatal. And although it is unrealistic to get this, since it is contained in 80 cups of coffee, you must always remember to be careful and not abuse your favorite drink.
Ground coffee from unscrupulous manufacturers who artificially “increase” the weight of an expensive product by adding various impurities can also pose a danger. Some of them sometimes contain toxic substances.
The best coffee to brew in a mug
High-quality coffee accounts for at least 90 percent of the success of brewing in a cup. You can buy it in grains and grind it at home in a coffee grinder, or buy it in a specialized store, where the grains will be turned into powder before your eyes. It is important to tell the seller that you need coffee to brew in a cup, then he will select the appropriate grind level.
The particles should not be too large, otherwise they will not be able to transfer all their valuable contents to the water, and in addition they will begin to float and will have to be removed from the cup with a spoon. However, grains ground into dust are also a bad option: the powder mixed with liquid will be a suspension of tiny particles that cannot be filtered, and they are in no hurry to settle to the bottom.
You should not create large stocks of ground coffee at home - the aromas tend to evaporate.
When purchasing beans and ground coffee, it is better to give preference to:
- Arabica (robusta, when brewed for a long time in a cup, will make the drink too bitter; we have separate material on their differences);
- premium varieties;
- grains that have been roasted for no more than 1 month.
Ground coffee for preparing in a cup can be purchased at the store in packs, almost ready for use. Some manufacturers make it easier for us to choose by indicating the purpose of their product on the packaging. For example: “Ground coffee “Black Card”. For brewing in a cup."
If we talk about coffee brands that experts prefer when used in this format, then you should pay attention to coffee:
- “Jardine” (we talked about it in more detail here),
- "Live Coffee"
- "Paulig"
- "Jockey".
Manufacturers reveal some of the secrets of their products to highlight their benefits. For example, the “Live Coffee” variety, intended for preparation in a cup, is packaged as quickly as possible after roasting the beans, therefore it retains its aroma and richness of taste throughout the year.
Experts note that when brewed in a cup, single-origin varieties reveal their potential especially effectively:
- Ethiopian Arabica (shades of fruits and berries);
- Arabica from Brazil (slightly sour);
- Arabica South American (notes of chocolate and citrus fruits).
All kinds of coffee with their names and characteristics can be found in this publication.
How to store ground coffee at home?
Glass jars are the most suitable container for storing ground coffee safely at home. Moreover, experts recommend filling them to the top so that there is no room for air in them. Plastic and metal are contraindicated for this product because they have their own specific odors that coffee will easily absorb.
If coffee is stored in the kitchen, it is necessary to exclude its proximity on the shelf with products that have a strong odor - spices, herbs, dried fruits. In addition, it is not beneficial for ground grains to be near water (sink, sink), windows (temperature changes) and stove.
There is no need to store coffee in the refrigerator - problems of foreign odors and temperature changes also arise there, and even to a greater extent than on the cupboard shelf. An exception is the so-called shock freezing of portioned bags of ground grains. In this case, the “freezer services” can be used for no longer than two months, and the coffee cannot be re-frozen.
What kind of coffee can you brew?
Most coffee brewing methods are designed to filter the liquid from powder particles. They, unlike tea leaves, do not sink to the bottom immediately, but float in the water throughout the entire volume. If the container is not touched for several minutes, small particles will settle over time, and large fractions will float to the surface. This is the main disadvantage of brewing in a cup.
True connoisseurs recommend making the drink from freshly ground coffee beans. But if you are in the office or just in a hurry, this method will not work. In this case, the finished product in packages comes to the rescue. Moreover, each time after uncorking, it is important to tightly close the container and use a pack of ground powder for two weeks, since over time it loses its aroma. If you rarely drink this drink at home, it is better to purchase a small package.
Love that unites civilizations
Coffee is one of the few drinks whose love for it unites different peoples.
And his more important recipes are “born,” of course, in countries where feeding coffee trees is the basis for the well-being of the inhabitants.
The open or Brazilian method of making coffee is correctly regulated by documents and is used during cupping.
How to brew coffee correctly, according to professional tasters, in order to smell it more, recognize the “sourness” and determine the stability of the taste?
During cap-testing, the freshest coffee, roasted for less than 8-12 minutes, ground as for a French press, is used.
It is poured into a glass or clay cup with a volume of 200-260 ml, taking into account the proportion of 8.25 g (+/- 0.25 g) per 150 ml of water. The latter is crystal clear and transparent, its temperature is 92-94C. Pour in water in an even, narrow stream, covering the coffee powder moderately. Without covering, infuse the drink for 4 minutes. During this period of time, a crust appears on its surface - this is the thickening that rises. It is carefully “broken” with a spoon. Half of the grounds are removed from the surface of the coffee, the rest settles to the bottom. The drink is ready for tasting.
In a more “folk” version of the recipe, coarsely ground coffee beans are used. They are poured with hot (92C) water at the rate of 9 g per cup, and infused without covering. After 4 minutes, remove the film from the surface - and enjoy!
Cuban coffee is indescribably strong, very sweet and very hot. In its historical homeland, it is prepared using the consistency of beans from several dozen species of coffee trees grown only on Cuban soils. Due to weather conditions, Cuban coffee is very rich in caffeine. Cubans often drink it “with a cigar” - after all, this is a drink for real machos.
How to boil coffee in a cup Cuban style?
It is better to brew it in a faceted glass. To get the right strength, choose a strong roasted coffee consistency with the inclusion of Robusta or Latin American Arabica.
The order of action and proportions of ingredients are as follows:
- Pour 13 g of medium-ground grains into a glass.
- Stir in 20g cane sugar.
- Pour 200 ml of boiled and slightly cooled water.
- Leave for 4-5 minutes.
- Before use, add 5 tsp. Roma
When served, the drink should be very hot; It is drunk in very small sips.
The charge of vivacity after it simply goes off scale.
Everything about this coffee is very, very good!
The lack of coffee production did not prevent the “birth” of very extravagant recipes in this country.
A distinctive feature of the “Polish” drink is that it is drunk together with grounds. To prevent coffee sediment from being so annoying, only very finely ground beans are used in production.
Because of its strength, this drink is considered “healthy” very conditionally. It is not recommended to infuse it for more than 2-3 minutes, because the extraction of caffeine, tannins and other “stimulating” components continues as long as you drink the drink, and ends in the digestive system.
What should be the grind, how much water and how many spoons of coffee will be needed to make it?
- Grind the coffee beans into powder, as for Turkish coffee.
- Boil and cool a little water - 60-100 ml.
- Warm up the mug (or cup).
- Pour 5-6g of ground coffee beans into it, i.e. 1 tsp with a slide.
- Pour in the prepared hot water.
- Stir until foam appears. Cover.
- After 2 minutes the drink is ready to drink.
There is another variation of strong “Polish” drink. Warsaw-style coffee is a drink with the most delicate foam and mild taste. The method of brewing it is similar to that described, but the strength is slightly “knocked down” by adding hot milk and sugar.

How to boil delicious coffee directly in a cup: a general principle, but three different recipes.
How to boil delicious coffee directly in a cup: a general principle, but three different recipes
From time to time you don’t feel like making coffee, or you simply don’t have a coffee maker or a Turk at hand. Or, for example, we are at the dacha, where there is only a comfortable veranda, ground coffee, a cup and a kettle. What should I do? - That's right - brew coffee directly into a cup. Now I will tell you my favorite method of doing this and share a couple of secrets. By the way, coffee brewed directly in a cup has its own unique, mild taste and a very pleasant aroma. It won't look like coffee from a coffee maker, it will be different, try it.
What will be useful for you?
In fact, all the recipes are similar to each other, differing only in minor details, but the taste of the drink changes dramatically from these little things.
And in order to figure out how to properly boil coffee in a cup, first, you need to understand the non-tricky list of ingredients and tools that will be useful to you.
First, take a cup. A thick-walled porcelain cup is almost always useful. It warms up well and retains heat, so the coffee cools down more slowly. In general, clay and even glassware will do.
Coffee. Use freshly roasted beans to fully reveal the taste and aroma. The finest grind is often used, then the coffee particles settle to the bottom more quickly, and the drink comes out cleaner and richer. Some recipes require medium grinding, and when cupping only the coarsest grind coffee is used. In the absence of a coffee grinder, you can use the means at hand, so as not to depend at all on modern technology.
The water for brewing coffee should be hot, but under no circumstances use boiling water, it will simply kill the taste of the drink, leaving only an unpleasant and empty mess in the cup. Perfect temperature around 95°C.
Paper filters. Those who know how to brew coffee in a cup don't worry about coffee grounds. If everything is done correctly, then it simply settles to the bottom and does not interfere with your enjoyment. In general, an ordinary cardboard filter helps to quickly filter the drink and make it cleaner.
Sugar and spices for coffee at your discretion. Like filters, this item is optional, but spices will help make the taste truly unique.
General nuances for brewing coffee in a cup
First you need to pour boiling water over the cup and pour it over for almost a few minutes so that the cup warms up. Then the coffee stays hot longer and reveals its flavor characteristics better. Add 1–2 teaspoons of finely ground coffee per 100–150 g of water into a cup. Cover the cup with a saucer and let the drink sit for about 4 minutes. At the final stage of production, you can add spices, sugar, chocolate at your discretion, which can decorate the drink and give it more specialness.
Be sure to experiment with types of coffee, try different blends. Not all of them are mixed with spices, but each of them has its own unique taste and aromatic characteristics, which are fully revealed when brewed using such a simple and easy method.
A few common recipes
In fact, every nation, and especially in countries that are usually associated with coffee growing or coffee culture, has its own idea of how to brew ground coffee in a cup so that it turns out delicious. We will present several important, in our opinion, recipes.
Brazilian method, also open. This is the method used during cupping. To do this, you need coarsely ground coffee at the rate of 9 g per 100 ml of water. There is no need to cover the cup; the rising cap from the grounds holds the smell well, and after making it simply breaks with a spoon.
Warsaw method of coffee making. A more common method is to use finely ground coffee. The cup is covered with a saucer, but filtering the drink is not customary. In this case, it comes out stronger and more invigorating - the best option for every morning.
Cuban coffee. This drink is boiled in a glass, adding a little cane sugar, and medium grind coffee is chosen. Having mixed the ingredients well, you can pour hot water over the coffee. A sweet drink energizes you and helps you cheer up before work. You see, the recipes differ only in the degree of grinding of the coffee and the choice of utensils.
A few final words
We have already told you how to deliciously boil coffee in a cup. But, if the appearance of coffee grounds seems unsightly to you or it is simply unpleasant for you to drink coffee with grounds, no one forbids using filters. With them, the drink comes out lighter and more transparent, although not as strong. The filter can be replaced with special bags, in which tea is usually boiled.
If you couldn’t get a filter, then add a pinch of sugar during the manufacturing process, then the grounds will settle faster. Usually only coarsely ground coffee causes problems. A very small grind, on the contrary, by the time of consumption the coffee usually accumulates all over the day, and the brewing process goes a little faster.
Step-by-step instructions on how to brew coffee without a Turk.
At home, Turka is used in most cases to make coffee. It allows you to get a coffee drink of the highest quality, thanks to its own shape and the materials from which it is made. Coffee makers are used intensively along with cezves. Their final product comes out to be of completely good quality.
Quite often there are cases when novice coffee gourmets do not have either Turks or coffee makers in their arsenal and do not know what to use to brew an invigorating drink. Therefore, now we will tell you how to properly brew coffee without a Turk.
Choice of ground coffee
For express brewing you need medium grind coffee. Ground grains that are ground too finely form a suspension in the bowl, which not everyone likes, and grains of coarsely ground grains are good for filtration brewing, but in a mug they float up and spoil the impression of the drink.
It is ideal when the grains are ground immediately before use, but often this is not possible. You can buy grains in specialized shops and ask them to immediately grind them as needed.
In supermarkets, a product suitable for brewing in a mug is marked with a special inscription or icon on the packaging. An opened pack should be used within 2 weeks by pouring the contents into an airtight, opaque jar.
- Don't miss: How to store ground coffee at home
It is best to brew ground coffee in a mug using only Arabica beans, without adding Robusta. Single-varietal high-mountain Arabica beans are the most advantageous with this preparation option, but espresso blends are not at all suitable here.
- More on the topic: Arabica or Robusta, which is better?
Brewing laws
To brew good coffee, in addition to quality beans, you will need knowledge of the laws of brewing. When water comes into contact with ground coffee, the most interesting and important process begins to occur, which is called extraction - the flavoring and aromatic components pass from the grain into the water, and we get an aromatic drink with a unique bouquet of flavor shades.
Extraction may be under or over. If there is not enough coffee, it will turn out unbalanced, with sharp acidity. If too much, the coffee will be very bitter.
Here are a few factors that influence the extraction process and general recommendations on how to optimize them:
Grinding degree - the coarser the beans are ground, the longer the coffee needs to be brewed, and vice versa.
Amount of coffee - the recommended ratio for brewing is 60 grams of coffee per 1 liter of water. You can measure exactly once, with a scale, how much fits in your teaspoon (about 4 grams) and then use it as a measuring tool, calculating the required portion.
Water temperature - coffee should not be brewed with boiling water, since in this case the extraction is very active, the drink will contain a lot of caffeine and bitterness, and subtle flavoring and aromatic substances will evaporate upon contact with boiling water. The optimal temperature is 93-94 degrees. At home, you can do this - boil a kettle, wait a couple of minutes, and only then use the water to brew coffee.
Water quality - if the water is hard, like in Moscow, then it is better to use bottled water. In St. Petersburg there is enough filtered water; our water is softer.
Alternative methods
Progress does not stand still, and therefore alternative devices were invented for making coffee:
- Aeropress - consists of a piston, cylinder, cover and replaceable filter. The device is installed on the cup. Coffee is prepared by pouring finely ground beans into a cylinder through a filter and adding hot water. Then a piston is inserted into the cylinder, pressed and the water is forced through the coffee. The finished drink goes into the cup, and the grounds remain in the filter.
- Chemex - consists of a glass vessel similar in shape to an hourglass and a paper filter. Coffee is poured into the filter and hot water is added in spills. Cooking time 3 minutes;
- pour over – consists of a funnel with a filter and a container for brewing coffee. Water temperature 95°C. A thin stream of water is poured into the funnel with coffee at an angle. The cooking process takes 2 minutes. The drink tastes similar to espresso;
- Siphon is the most underused but spectacular cooking method. Involves the use of two vessels and a burner. Hot water is poured into one, coffee into the other. After heating and creating steam from the water, the coffee is brewed.
Perhaps alternative methods will seem complicated and inconvenient. This is not entirely true. It’s just that they are still a new product and are not used to them, preferring more familiar methods of brewing coffee, considering them correct and convenient.
There are many options for preparing cold and hot invigorating drinks. Everything for cooking can be purchased at the store, and good grains can be ordered at the roasting shop. A little time, patience and love will give an amazing result in the form of a cup of aromatic and tasty drink.
Other cooking methods and recipes
An excellent drink without a Turk, coffee machine or other equipment can be prepared in the microwave. Ingredient ratio: 100 ml water and 6-7 g medium grind coffee. Prepare the drink in a container designed for microwave ovens, and upon completion of the process, pour it into a clean cup.
The brewing technology is as follows: first, coffee and (to taste) sugar and spices are poured into the container. Add a small amount of cold water, then vigorously mix the ingredients for 15 seconds. Then pour in the rest of the water, remembering that it should not reach 3-4 cm to the edge of the container. Mix the contents and place the container in the oven. Having closed the door, observe the process: when the foam rises to the edge of the dish, turn off the microwave, remove the container with coffee from it, close it with a lid and let the drink stand for three minutes.
Brewing coffee in a thermos serves two purposes. Firstly, to take it with you on a trip, and secondly, to prepare it for a home party with a large number of guests.
Coffee for travel is prepared almost like in a cup, but the ratio of ingredients is adjusted: less ground beans should be taken (about 1/4), since the brewing process takes longer and the drink may turn out to be too strong. Approximately 10 tsp are consumed per 1 liter of water. coffee.
Having filled the thermos with hot water, do not immediately close the lid; do this after a couple of minutes, adding (if desired) sugar and milk beforehand. A drink prepared in this way retains its full aroma for 2 hours, and its invigorating properties even longer, which, in fact, is what is usually required on the road.
Preparing coffee in a thermos at home for a large company takes 10 minutes. The thermos is rinsed with boiling water, this water is poured out, and then it is filled with the necessary ingredients: ground grains (12 tsp) and hot water (first two glasses, and after 5 minutes approximately the same amount so that the total volume is 1 liter) . The drink is infused in a thermos for 5 minutes.
We talked about which thermos for tea and coffee is best to buy here.
Features of preparing southern and cold drinks
Brazilian coffee for brewing in a cup is prepared from coarsely ground raw materials. After adding hot water, tiny particles float to the top. They form a crust on the surface, which is then removed with a spoon.
Cuban coffee is known for its tart taste and distinct aroma. The composition is suitable for use in winter, as it warms perfectly. To make it, you will need brown sugar and a few drops of rum, which is added to the already prepared drink.
Ground grains soaked in cold water require time to infuse. Therefore, in order to enjoy a refreshing drink in the morning, it must be prepared in the evening. The finer the grind, the better. Pour cold water over the ground beans. Let them steep all night. In the morning, strain the mixture.
Making in a coffee machine
Using an automatic coffee machine is the quickest and most common method of making a fragrant drink. Study the instructions for the device quite carefully and you can safely proceed to action. You can prepare ground coffee in a coffee machine, both coarse and finely ground, and it will turn out equally tasty in both the first and second cases.
An instruction manual for most modern coffee machine models looks like this:
- Pour water into a special reservoir. The volume of water depends on the number of cups.
- Fill the coffee compartment with beans. For a capsule coffee machine, a capsule with compressed ground coffee is inserted into a special hole in the capsule receptacle.
- The prepared cup is placed under the nozzle of the coffee machine, after which the “Start” button is pressed.
- After about 30 seconds, the coffee brewing process will end, and you can enjoy the taste of your favorite drink.
French press for making coffee
It’s not at all difficult to boil an invigorating drink using a French press. Visually, a French press is a special closed container with a piston. To make a drink using this device, coarsely ground coffee beans are required. Otherwise, it will be more difficult to push the piston with the filter. But grinding has no effect on the taste of the drink. In any case, the coffee will be excellent.
The manufacturing process consists of the following steps:
- Boil water in a kettle, then let it cool slightly to a temperature of 90-95 °C.
- Pour ground coffee into a French press at the rate of 7 g per 100 ml of water.
- Pour a small amount of water (approximately 100 ml) into the container and stir the coffee with a spoon.
- Wait exactly 1 minute, then pour the remaining water into the French press.
- Close the container with a lid. Wait another 3 minutes.
- Carefully lower the piston all the way. Pour the drink into previously heated cups.
Preparing for brewing
Before brewing the drink, warm the cup well for a few seconds in the microwave or rinse with boiling water. In this case, the aroma will develop better and the temperature will remain longer.
If the recipe calls for hot liquid, bring it until the first bubbles appear (+92-96 °C), avoiding boiling. Coffee experts explain this by saying that when boiling water is added, the ground powder will not fully reveal its taste. And if you add milk, cream or their substitutes, the milk protein will coagulate into white flakes in hot water. The appearance and taste will deteriorate.
Interesting! How to brew instant coffee correctly
How to brew coffee without a Turk
For brewing coffee beans, it is best to get a Turk. The quality of the drink prepared in it is of the highest quality.
If you don’t have a Turk, carefully study the contents of your kitchen and try to find suitable utensils.
Almost anything can do: cups, pots, ladles. The main thing is that the dishes keep the highest temperature.
A pot, which is usually used for baking potatoes and meat, may seem like an interesting option. The pots are made of ceramic and can withstand high temperatures perfectly.
It is recommended to cook ground grains in a pot carefully. Ceramics take a long time to heat up and take a long time to cool down. Even if you remove the pot from the stove, the foam will rise within 10 - 15 seconds. Taking into account that its handles are small, there is a possibility of getting burned by the leaking liquid.
Below we will look at how to brew coffee without a Turk in a safer way.
What types of coffee are there and how to prepare them
There are quite a lot of varieties of preparation. It is most likely difficult to list everything even for an avid coffee lover. Any method of preparing brewed coffee - from decorative foam to French presses - has its admirers. Know how to enjoy every next cup of hot, fragrant coffee!
It is clear that words such as Americano or espresso, cappuccino, latte are known to many. Then, as the names, ristretto, cortado, most people can only evoke dubious ideas. We will look into the most famous types of brewing natural aromatic coffee.
Espresso
Most people value espresso for its strong, rich taste. This drink of vivacity originated in the post-war years in European countries. It seems that we already know absolutely everything about him.
The hallmark of an excellent espresso using fresh, aromatic beans is the richness of the cream. Crema is hazelnut foam that sits on top of a freshly brewed drink. It is obtained by increasing the pressure during preparation in a coffee machine.
Ristretto
Ristretto is the strongest version of espresso. In exact translation it means “shortened”. This only indicates that when brewing it, a smaller volume of water is used, up to 15 ml . The drink turns out more rich and strong.
The brewing process itself becomes shorter, for this reason it contains less caffeine.
This does not prevent ristretto from having a rich taste and sensual aroma.
Americano
Americano is the most famous of coffee drinks not only in our country, but also abroad. It is not as tart and bitter as espresso, so it is possible to prolong the pleasure. You can add milk or cream to Americano. Drink from a large cup.
Cappuccino
As legend has it, this delicious drink was invented by merchant monks. They gave it the name “cappuccino”, which means milk coffee with a mild taste and milk foam. To make cappuccino you only need two ingredients . It is prepared from whole or low-fat milk and a cup of espresso.
Another nice thing is that the barista puts all sorts of heart-shaped designs cappuccino They will add a romantic touch to your meal!
Latte
Latte from Italian simply sounds like milk, so it’s immediately clear that latte is a milk drink. Whole or skim milk is almost the main ingredient. Latte is delicious not only with additives. 1/4 espresso is added 3/4 milk during coffee brewing , it is also loved by connoisseurs of a soft aromatic drink.
Romano
If you like something sour, then you will like espresso with the addition of lemon wedges. You can replace the slices with a few drops of lemon juice. It's quick and easy to prepare. The combination of espresso and lemon gives a very unusual and refreshing taste.
Flat white
It is prepared almost the same as cappuccino. The only thing is that the milk foam here should be no more than 0.2 cm .
Moccaccino (mocha)
Mocha is steamed with whole/skim milk. Add chocolate syrup and top with chocolate chip whipped cream. Indulging in mocha is considered a gourmet delight. Loaded with tart chocolate flavor and rich creaminess.
Macchiato
An iced caramel macchiato made with rich, dark roasted espresso. Serve with your choice of skim/whole milk mixed with sweet caramel syrup. Covered with buttery caramel.
Cortado
Another type based on coffee and milk is cortado . Prepared espresso and hot milk are also taken here in a 1:1 . To serve cortado, use glass containers with a volume of 150 ml or more . If you are a fan of condensed milk, then you can use it.
Piccolo
Somewhat similar to a latte. It is often argued that it is one espresso shot (30 ml ) with the addition of fresh milk in a demitasse glass (about 80 ml ) or a double ristretto ( 20 ml ) with the addition of a large amount of milk in a glass of the same size.
Either way, it's a delicious way to enjoy a lighter roast of specialty milk coffee. The acidity due to milk is not so noticeable because it is somewhat softened by it.
Glasse
Cold coffee or iced coffee, as it is also called. Often consumed as a refreshing drink, especially in summer. Refreshingly cool, made with 100% Arabica coffee, cream and flavored syrups. They use caramel, hazelnuts, and French vanilla without sugar.
Viennese coffee
Have you tried Viennese coffee yet? For more than 350 years, all cafes in Austria have been serving such a wonderful, tasty drink. To do this, beat 2/3 cup with sugar in a chilled bowl at high speed until soft peaks form. Cover with a lid, at the same time rub chocolate into pieces and add coffee.
American style coffee (filter coffee)
It is prepared in a drip filter coffee maker in 5-7 minutes . The reservoir is filled with cold water. Fresh ground grains are poured into a conical paper filter. When heated, water flows through the tube and enters the coffee in the filter. It turns out that boiling water simply passes through the ground grains. This produces a delicious aroma.
Coffee with cocoa
Here the name speaks for itself. A few sips of coffee with the addition of grated coco beans will not only give you an unforgettable aftertaste, but will also give you energy for the whole day. Delicious espresso with a cocoa flavor can only be prepared from freshly ground beans. By observing this condition, you will get a thick and aromatic cocoa-colored foam and a magical trail of the smell of cocoa beans.
Turkish coffee
The method of preparing Arabic or Turkish coffee is very simple. Ground grains and 2 teaspoons of sugar are boiled three times in an ibrik , a small copper pot. This brewing method is not very common, but is a common practice in Arab culture.
Material on the topic:
Irish coffee
