For preparation you will need the following ingredients:

  • coffee - 50 g;
  • water - 0.5 l;
  • yolks - 3 pcs.;
  • sugar - 100 g;
  • milk - 250 ml;
  • vanilla.

Step-by-step preparation:

  1. We prepare a coffee drink from the available water and ground coffee.
  2. While it cools, grind the yolks with granulated sugar until foam appears.
  3. Then, continuing to stir, gradually add milk in small portions. Place the bowl with the yolks in a water bath and continue whisking continuously while heating. The mass should reach the consistency of sour cream.
  4. Next, turn off the heat, cool, mix with the prepared coffee, and season with vanilla.
  5. Place the finished dessert in the freezer and bring it to a semi-liquid state. You can serve iced coffee by garnishing it with grated chocolate, nuts, and whipped cream.

Liege style

This cold coffee dessert has its own history and is well known all over the world. Ironically, in the city of Liege itself it is called “Viennese”. Products taken for cooking:

  • well-chilled black coffee – 50 ml;
  • egg yolk – 2 pcs.;
  • chilled liquid cream (fat content not less than 30%) – 150 ml;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp. l. with a small slide;
  • water – 100 ml.

To make the dessert tender and appetizing, you must follow these steps:

  1. Let's brew our regular black coffee. Instant coffee lovers are also allowed this option. The drink needs to be strained, allowed to cool and hidden in the refrigerator close to the freezer. We extract egg yolks from 2 chicken eggs.
  2. Pour all the sugar into a saucepan and add water. Cook thick syrup over low heat. To do this, constantly stir the liquid so that the sugar does not stick. Let's bring it to a honey consistency. The finished syrup stretches behind the spoon and forms threads.
  3. Grind the yolks into a homogeneous mass, mix well with the syrup. It should not be too hot so that the yolk mass does not curdle. Next, beat everything with a mixer (not a blender!) until white.
  4. Add half the cream to the mixer bowl with the yolk mixture and continue beating for another minute. Add our cold coffee drink there and continue whisking for another minute. Add the rest of the cream and beat everything together thoroughly.
  5. Place the whipped coffee-cream mixture in the freezer. You will need to be careful here, as it should only thicken, but not freeze.
  6. When we decide that the dessert has thickened enough, we take it out and beat it again with a mixer for about a minute.
  7. Now we take out beautiful vases or wide glasses and arrange the treats into portions. Finishing note: sprinkle crushed coffee beans or chocolate chips on top.

It's better to drink original coffee with friends.

Recipes "Yolk and company"

The easiest way to separate the yolk from the white is to pour the broken egg into your palm. The white will flow through your fingers, and the yolk will remain in the palm of your hand. If this method is not suitable, you can make a funnel with a hole out of paper, insert it into a glass and release the egg into it. The white will flow down, but the yolk will remain intact.

Classical

A delicate thick drink will be made from a cup of hot coffee. Let's brew it in our favorite way.

In addition to freshly brewed coffee you will need:

  • milk - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • yolk of one egg.

Warm the milk a little, mix it with the yolk, beat it thoroughly with a mixer.

Combine the coffee drink with the yolk-milk mix, add sugar if desired, and stir.

When serving, it would be nice to quickly add a cute touch. For example, throwing a couple of marshmallows on top or crumbling a piece of chocolate is a good start to a new day.

With egg and condensed milk

Measuring products in “ml” is not always convenient, but they can be easily replaced with the usual spoons: 1 tbsp. l. this is 15 ml of any liquid, 1 tsp. - 5 ml, and dessert - 10 ml.

  • hot water - 70 ml;
  • condensed milk - 70 ml;
  • ready-made coffee - 75 ml;
  • sugar - 1 tsp;
  • yolk.

Mix all ingredients and beat with a mixer. You should get an appetizing airy mass, which is served in a transparent glass with a cocktail straw.

A more sophisticated version of the drink is made on the basis of black coffee, but without adding water. Beat the yolk by adding 1 tbsp. l. condensed milk and 1 tbsp. l. ready-made coffee drink. The resulting foamed mass is poured into a small cup of black coffee. Sugar - to taste. The recipe refers to one of the traditional ways of making Vietnamese coffee. All travelers return from Vietnam impressed by this gastronomic miracle.

Swedish coffee with egg

A very strange drink, in my opinion, but as we know, “there are no comrades in taste and color!” It is believed that this recipe originated from Swedish settlers in America. In the old days, many Americans called it "cowboy drink." Ingredients needed for cooking:

  • Water (filtered).
  • Ground coffee.
  • 1 egg.

Cooking method:

  1. Measure out the required amount of water, pour it into a saucepan and put it on the fire.
  2. Take a bowl and measure the required amount of ground coffee into it; according to experience, this is 1 tablespoon per 200 ml. glass of water.
  3. Take another bowl and crack the egg into it, then beat it until smooth. You may need to add a little water.
  4. Let's go back to the pot of water, as soon as it boils, turn down the heat.
  5. Mix the coffee and egg mixture, then pour the mixture into boiling water and boil for 3 minutes
  6. If you want stronger coffee, then brew the coffee for 6 minutes and over higher heat.
  7. Wait until the grounds begin to fall.
  8. And then carefully pour the coffee into the mug.

Cooking process

  1. Place a few teaspoons of black coffee in a coffee filter. Distribute it evenly so that there are no lumps.
  2. Boil water, fill half a glass cup to heat it, and then pour the boiling water into the filter.

  3. Let the coffee drip into the cup for a few minutes.

  4. Break 2 chicken eggs, divide into whites and yolks. Set the whites aside. In our case, only the yolk is used.

  5. Now add a little condensed milk to the yolks and whisk this mixture until it turns bright yellow. It is better not to use a mixer, because in this case the yolk may become too liquid.

  6. Pour the egg and condensed milk mixture into the cup, making sure to create a foamy head on the top of the coffee. In Vietnam, a special device is used for this, which does not allow the mixture of yolks and milk to flow into the cup too quickly. But in the absence of one, you can simply do it with a spoon.

So, your cup of egg coffee is ready! But personally, I would advise not to make filtered coffee, but to prepare it Turkish. The effect will be no less wonderful! At least it works with Viennese coffee.

Reviews

The original, unique coffee with egg will appeal to gourmets and lovers of this invigorating drink. Numerous positive reviews testify to its good taste.

Elena Kovach Like a coffee lover to a coffee lover: a recipe for those who drink coffee with milk. I prefer espresso, and, if possible, espresso-ristretto. And, like Elena, I can add the yolk mashed into a thick foam on top. They also taught me to drink coffee with a protein cap and a protein-strawberry cap. In general, there are countless options! But I can confirm that coffee with yolk is delicious! And, yes - where is so much coffee: 50 grams? That's a lot.

Elena K, Dniprovske, Ukraine An interesting cafe where you can leave a note right on the wall. You can sit right at the table, by the open window, and look out onto the street. But the best thing here is the wonderful coffee with eggs. The most delicious of all the places where I drank the same coffee in Vietnam.

Guest I took one fresh chicken egg. I liked the result. Egg whites beaten with vanilla sugar make a wonderful combination with coffee. Somewhere vaguely reminiscent of whipped cream. What didn't work was whisking the yolk. I beat the egg whites in a blender, the foam turned out airy, just superb. And the yolk is small, you can’t beat it in a blender. So I used a fork. It didn't work. I made coffee with an espresso double shot. When I laid out the yolk, it failed for me, precisely because it did not whip. And the squirrel stayed on the surface in a thick, large cap.

Not all possible combinations of coffee and eggs are listed here. He is a prominent representative of fusion cuisine, where you can endlessly play with ingredients and flavors, achieving culinary sophistication. It will undoubtedly be loved by everyone who is open to new gastronomic experiences.

Benefits of egg coffee

Egg coffee is a very nutritious drink. Coffee speeds up metabolism, gives energy and protects against a number of cardiovascular diseases. The egg contains many nutritional amino acids and vitamins provided by nature itself for the formation of a living organism - a chick. When these two ingredients are combined, you get a nutritious and healthy drink that allows you to enjoy the taste and invigorate yourself.

We especially revere coffee with eggs among bodybuilders. Egg coffee, as a sports nutrition, is well known for its well-known fact of rapid muscle recovery after workouts due to the nutritional properties of eggs and the increase in endurance due to caffeine. You can read more about caffeine and sports in the article of the same name, or learn about the personal experience of combining caffeine and sports from the first-hand lips of UCI GRAN FONDO winner Maria Petrova.
